E AND B FARM PICTURES
E and B Farm is home to BFH Bassets
These are our first baby chicks.  They are
an assortment of heavy breeds: Big Red,
Barred Rocks, Black Giants, Cornish X and
Buff White Rocks.  We received them by
mail order May 2006.
2006 Vegetable Garden
This is our  Daylily and Iris field.  We are in the process of planting it, May/June
2006.
A wild hen turkey with her chicks out in the
hay field behind our house.
These are wild turkeys in our front yard.
We had this 7 a.m.  visitor one February morning 2006.  He walked to the oak tree and
enjoyed eating acorns.  The pond is beside our driveway and directly in front of our house.
Oh, did I mention
flowers!  We love
irises,
daylilies,
and antique roses.

These are our 2 special horse trainers.
Hope on front and Faith on back.  This
is one of our 2 year old colts we
trained.
This is Faith going to check out a
turtle that was crossing our yard in
June 2004.
You can never tell what you might see on
our farm.  We bought 3 buffalo calves one
time,  a bull and two heifers.  We named
them Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana.  They
were the talk of the neighborhood until we
sold them.  Behind the buffalo is an
authentic smoke house used to smoke meat.
It was brought in from a neighboring farm.
It was used back in the early 1900's to
smoke and cure meat.
We installed this gazebo in our back yard for my niece
to have her wedding, spring 2004.
We would love for anyone who is interested
in one of one of our Bassets or any of our
farm products to please give us a call and
come out to visit.  Have a look around, see
what's happening at the farm, or maybe
even get a new daylily or iris.  Bring the
children or grandchildren and come enjoy
some time on the farm.

Early January 2011, I received a phone call from a customer
who raises quite a few different farm animals.  He wanted to
give Hope a miniature horse.  He said he had two little studs he
would like to find new homes for.  When Eddie and I went over
for a visit he said Hope could have both of the little horses.
When we went over to pick up the two little guys, we bought
three mares from him.  Of course, Hope let Faith have one.
Faith named her horse, Bernard, and Hope named hers Sampson.

Thanks so much to Mr. Roy.  They have been such a blessing.
Hope goes out to the pasture and all five will be around her
wanting to be petted.  The girls spend hours at a time out
caring for them.
Early January 2011, Faith mentioned
she missed raising rabbits.  We all
decided we missed having chickens.
Eddie and I visited the flea market in
Philadelphia.  We bought three bantam
chickens and Lionel.
