Just who is BFH Bassets?
Here's our story.
I'm Belinda Winters, creator of this website, and main caretaker of our canine friends, our Bassets. I have twin
daughters age 15, Faith and Hope Brown.
Faith's and Hope's grandparents, The Browns, raised Basset Hounds for around 10 years. Several years ago,
when we moved to the farm they gave each girl a female Basset, Lady Pepper Ann and Little Pattie Lou. Then
later they gave the girls a male Basset, Sir Joe Clues. We fell in love with Bassets. I have never met a more
lovable breed of dog. When I am sad they know just how to raise my spirits.
We acquired all the Brown family Bassets due to Papaw John being ill. We lost Papaw John to cancer spring 2007.
The girls and I work full time here on the farm. The girls help socialize the pups, feed, water, groom, help with
training, as well as other various chores. Our basset hounds are a fun hobby for the girls and I to enjoy.
We are also home schoolers. The girls get to do quite a bit of real life training. They learn about money
management, how a farm operates, customer relations, phone etiquette, veterinary care, and other farm
practices.
We really enjoy meeting our customers and getting to know them. We love the e-mails, letters, calls, and
pictures keeping us up to date on what our little rascals are doing at their new homes.
